This is how I think one should make a perfect presentation. Its simple!
- Most importantly, the presenter should not speak to a non-existent listener in the audience. Talking "to the air" is like talking to no one. And if you talk to no one, no one will listen.
- Best, to my opinion, is to imagine that you are talking to your best friend and explaining him the topic. Focus on random people in the audience and look them in their eyes. If you follow this recipe, I guarantee that you will not have any fear of stage and your confidence will be your ally.
- There are one, two or MAXIMUM three messages, or a take home points if you wish, that your audience should have understood from your lecture. What the audience have learned from your talk?
- Oh yeah, there is also how you create the content in the slides of your presentation. But if you know your audience, it becomes a self obvious fact to simply things so that everyone could understand as much as possible. And do not forget to re-stress the main message at the end of your presentation
